Dalwayne was born and raised in the hills of George Town,St.Mary. From a tender age, he was known as lyrical deejay around the community displaying his talent on the various sound systems around at parties.
The attention on him grew in high school where he performed at concerts and deejay freestyle clashes with other upcoming artists at the time. That’s when he decided that he wanted be a professional artist. Dalwayne linked up with a fellow young producer from the community, Phillip McFarlane and they started recording in their bedroom with some cheap equipment. It was hard at the time to put out music as they had no idea how to get the songs on radio plus they were living in a poor rural community.
Fast-forward 10 years later when Phillip McFarlane moved to Kingston for music college and started putting out music professionally, Dalwayne then moved to the city to reconnect with his friend. Thats when things started to move. They went on to release countless songs and music videos.
2022 Dalwayne hit the road on his first ever tour in the USA opening for Jamaican reggae band EarthKry. The sing J who got his influence from Capleton,. Sizzle, Bob Marley , Bounty Killer and many more, started gaining new fans worldwide.
